Learn More About A.P.P.L.E. and Donate

Proceeds from the Sekani Trail Run benefit Franklin Elementary School’s APPLE program.

The Sekani Trial Run is one of the primary fundraisers supporting the Alternative Parent Participation Learning Experience (A.P.P.L.E.) program at Franklin Elementary School.

As a parent participation program, parents/guardians spend time in the classroom, outside the classroom with Franklin Apple programs to benefit the students, and are encouraged to help in the planning and implementation of the curriculum. Families in the program also work together at fostering a true feeling of community and involvement in the elementary classroom.

The money raised from the he Sekani Trail Run will be used to supply necessary and additional classroom items, field trips, books, art and science supplies, which are critical to a complete education.
